Anita Granger was born in Toronto and grew up in the small town of Maple just north of the city.
She holds a B.F.A. Spec. Hons. from York University with a double specialization in Visual Art and Graphic Design. Anita embarked on a twenty-year career working extensively in design. After her initial start as a graphic designer with OWL & Chickadee Magazines, she transitioned into architectural and interior design and spent over 15 years as a project manager, designer and associate with CS&P Architects in Toronto. In 2018 she completed the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, UK. Certificate in Botanical Illustration (with Distinction) In 2024 she completed the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Advanced Certificate in Botanical Illustration (with Distinction) Anita has exhibited in multiple group exhibitions throughout Ontario. Her work is held in private collections in Canada, the US and the Caribbean. She currently resides in Fergus, ON.
